Mission Statement
High Pointe Ballet exists to:
1. Instruct girls to honor God through the art of dance
2. Impart into each student grace, confidence, poise, dignity
and determination
3. Inspire dancers to achieve life's dreams
International Summer
Dance Camps
Kids will spend a week learning about the people and culture of other countries through dance and games. Available for preschool and elementary ages.
Special Events
During the season there are two "Open Classes" observed by family and friends. Advance notice will be given. There is a recital held in May. Each student will wear a costume. The cost for the costume will be given in November.
Schedule
High Pointe Ballet will follow the Clovis Public School schedule for Christmas and Spring Break. There are no classes scheduled during the week of Thanksgiving. If classes need to be cancelled due to weather a text will be sent.
Attendance
To take full advantage of the instruction offered, regular attendance is necessary. There are no refunds or adjustments for missed lessons except for prolonged illness.
Please call or text 575-791-5199 if your child will not be in class. Do not send your child to class if she is sick.
Dress Code
Leotard- an assigned color for each class (no low backs, halter or spaghetti straps)
Pink footed tights
Pink Ballet Shoes (Mrs. Leslie should confirm a proper fit of the shoes before wearing)
Black skirt for 3rd grade and older
Hair should be pulled back in a bun. If hair is short, it should be pulled out of face.
For safety, no jewelry is allowed other than stud earrings.
Dance Apparel
All Dance Apparel is available at affordable prices at the studio. Ballet shoes, colorful leotards, tights, shirts, ballet sweaters and dance bags.
